The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has greeted the people on the eve of Milad-un-Nabi.
Following is the full text of his message –
“I convey my warm greetings and best wishes to all our citizens on the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi – celebrated as the Birthday of Prophet Mohammad.
The Holy Prophet showed humanity the righteous path of compassion, tolerance and universal brotherhood.
May His eternal message continue to guide us in building a just, humane and harmonious society.”
Following is the Hindi version of the message –
“मैं पैगम्बर मोहम्मद की जयंती के रूप में मनाए जाने वाले मिलाद-उन-नबी के शुभ अवसर पर समस्त देशवासियों को हार्दिक बधाई और शुभकामनाएं देता हूँ।
पैगम्बर साहब ने मानव जाति को करुणा, सहनशीलता और सार्वभौमिक भाईचारे का नेक मार्ग दिखाया।
मैं कामना करता हूं कि पैगम्बर मोहम्मद का चिरंतन संदेश एक न्यायपूर्ण, दयाशील और समरसतापूर्ण समाज का निर्माण करने में हमारा मार्गदर्शन करता रहे।”
Following is the Urdu version of the message –
میلاد النبیؐ کے مبارک موقع پر ،جسے پیغمبر حضرت محمدؐ کے یوم پیدائش کے طور پر منایا جا تا ہے، میں اپنے تمام شہریوں کو اپنی جانب سے مبارکباداور نیک خواہشات پیش کرتا ہوں۔
پیغمبر اسلام حضرت محمدؐ صاحب نے بنی نوع انسانیت کو جذبۂ ترحم ، رواداری اور عالمی بھائی چارے کا راستی پر مبنی سیدھا راستہ دکھایا۔
خدا کرے کہ ان کا ابدی پیغام ایک منصفانہ، مبنی بر انسانیت اور ہم آہنگی کے اصولوں پر مبنی معاشرے کی تشکیل کے لئے ہماری رہنمائی کرتا رہے۔
