Dr. Nishikant Dubey, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Godda inaugurated two (2) escalators at Jasidih station today (01.01.2021) through video conferencing.
In his speech, Dr. Nishikant Dubey, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Godda said that these two escalators would be helpful especially for the aged passengers and pilgrims. The escalator facility would be immensely beneficial for the passengers during Shravani Mela also when lakhs of pilgrims visit the Holy temple of Baidyanathdham at Deoghar.

Jasidih is one of the important stations of Asansol Division which is located near Deoghar District of Jharkhand. It is the gateway to Deoghar and serves millions of devotees across India.
Shri Narayan Das, Hon’ble MLA, Deoghar was present at Jasidih station during the inauguration. Shri Sumit Sarkar, Divisional Railway Manager, Eastern Railway, Asansol joined the virtual inauguration from Asansol.
