Both will work together to create a film transformation of Ta-Nehisi Coates’ top-rated novel ‘The Water Dancer’

November 11, 2020 (Washington) : American anchor person Oprah Winfrey and Hollywood star Brad Pitt are collaborating to create a film transformation of Ta-Nehisi Coates’ top rated novel ‘The Water Dancer’ for MGM.

As announced by Variety, Winfrey’s Harpo Films and Pitt’s Plan B will deliver close by Kamilah Forbes, who is the leader maker of the Apollo Theater. Forbes as of late coordinated the dramatic variation of Coates’ ‘Between the World and Me,’ just as the impending HBO transformation. Plan B and Harpo Films worked together on the Oscar-assigned film ‘Selma’ in 2014. Coates has adjusted the novel for the screen.

‘The Water Dancer’ follows Hiram Walker, who was conceived oppressed and lost his mom at a youthful age. After nearly suffocating from slamming a carriage into a waterway, Hiram finds that he has a baffling force identified with tragically missing recollections of his mom, and battles to get it.

As revealed by Variety, MGM’s Film Group Chairman Michael De Luca and MGM’s Film Group President Pamela Abdy said in an assertion, “Ta-Nehisi’s presentation fiction novel has at its heart, a lovely character in Hiram Walker, whose individual odyssey weaves the extraordinary and profound, with the horrendous truth of the constrained partitions suffered by oppressed individuals and their families for quite a long time. Hiram’s story is one of dedication to those he cherishes, and the excursion he takes to unite them. We all at MGM are staggeringly regarded to join Ta-Nehisi, Kamilah, Plan B and Harpo Films in carrying this film to the screen.”
