Vice President greets the nation on the eve of Parsi New Year, Navroz

The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has greeted the people on the eve of Parsi New Year, Navroz. Following is the full text of his message –

“I convey my greetings and best wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of ‘Navroz’, which marks the beginning of Parsi New Year.

Celebrated with great traditional festivity, Navroz symbolizes the spirit of fraternity, compassion, and respect for all. The Parsi community made vital contributions to the all-around development of our country.

Navroz is an occasion for friends and family to come together in the celebration of kinship, brotherhood, and unity.  I appeal to everyone to celebrate Navroz by taking the utmost precautions and adhering to Covid safety norms.

May the year ahead bring amity, prosperity, and happiness in all our lives.  Navroz Mubarak to one and all.”

Following is the Hindi version of the message –

“मैं पारसी नव वर्ष की शुरुआत के प्रतीक ‘नवरोज़’ के पावन अवसर पर सभी देशवासियों को बधाई देता हूँ।

अत्यधिक परम्परागत उत्साह के साथ आयोजित किया जाने वाला ‘नवरोज़’ भाईचारे की भावना, सभी के लिए दया और सम्मान का प्रतीक है। पारसी समुदाय ने राष्ट्र के बहुमुखी विकास में अपना अमूल्य योगदान दिया है।

‘नवरोज़’ एक ऐसा अवसर है जब परिवार और मित्र एक साथ एकत्र होते हैं, और अपनेपन, बंधुत्व और एकता की भावना के साथ उत्सव मनाते हैं। मैं सभी से अत्यधिक सावधानी के साथ और कोविड सुरक्षा मानदंडों की अनुपालना करते हुए ‘नवरोज़’ मनाने का आग्रह करता हूँ।

मैं कामना करता हूं कि यह त्योहार हम सभी के जीवन में बंधुत्व, समृद्धि और प्रसन्नता लाए। सभी को ‘नवरोज़’ मुबारक हो।”
