Introduction of Human Resource Management System ( HRMS) Help Desk in South East Central Railway.
Human Resource Management System ( HRMS) Help Desk was launched at South East Central Railway Headquarters today by Principal Chief Personnel Officer Mr. Sukhbir Singh. On this occasion, Shri Rajendra Kumar Aggarwal, Chief Personnel Officer (IR), and officers and employees of the Personnel Department were present. With the help of the Human Resource Management System ( HRMS) Help Desk, technical support related to this system will be provided to serving and retired railway employees. Similar service is to be done in all the workshops under the three railways of Bilaspur, Raipur, and Nagpur in South East Central Railway as well as South East Central Railway.
Indian Railways has recently launched a fully digital online human resource management system (HRMS). Human Resource Management System (HRMS) is a high priority project of Indian Railways to take advantage of the improvement in productivity and employee satisfaction. This is a strong step towards realizing the vision and ability of the Prime Minister to enable and improve the rail system and transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. Through HRMS, it has helped in ease of functioning of all the employees and making more and more technical information available to the employees.
Indian Railways has introduced several modules of HRMS and user depots for railway employees and pensioners, including the Employee Self-Service (ESS) module enabling railway employees to interact with various modules of HRMS, including data-related communication. Provident Fund (PF) Advance ModuleRailway employees are applying online for PF Advance by looking at their PF balance online. All the repayment process of employees retiring from the settlement module has gone digital. Employees can fill their settlement/pension booklet online. Service and details can be obtained online and the entire pension work is done online. This is also to ensure the reduction in paper usage and monitoring of processing of arrears of retired employees.
Indian Railways has already launched several modules of HRMS. This Mploy master module is, which contains all the basic information details of railway staff. The Electronic Service Record module has brought the service records of employees to digital format. The Annual Performance Report (APAR) module has digitized the process of writing the performance of all 12 lakh non-gazetted railway employees. Paper pass has been replaced by an electronic pass module. The Office Order module deals with issuing office orders and updating the data related to new employee joining, promotion transfers, and retirement.
