eCampus incepted in 2018 and claims to have over 10,000 paying users distributed across five Indian cities.
eCampus, a SaaS-based EdTech platform for higher education institutions, has closed its seed investment round, which was driven by the Blackboard Education Research Foundation in India. To stay at the top of the competitive EdTech scene, the start-up will utilise the funds to drive product improvement, create an efficient lateral staff, and continually produce new solutions to answer fresh market demands.
From lead acquisition to transcript creation, the all-in-one campus automation platform automates activities in colleges and universities. Faculty and administrators save time and effort by using the platform’s user-friendly modules to manage data, collect fees, send push alerts, check attendance, and plan live sessions. According to the company, its user base, which mostly consists of students and instructors, has begun to use the platform to transition from traditional campus classrooms to online learning. The start-up, which was founded by Faiz Khan & Anjum Badar in 2018, claims to have over 10,000 paying users distributed across five Indian cities.
Anjum Badar, Co-founder, eCampus, said, “The solutions offered by eCampus LMS platform are pretty handy for the HEIs as it pulls out the conundrum of managing the learning of their students. It allows the faculties to just focus on the content deliverables of their teaching in any form of media which includes conducting live interactive classes, uploading DRM encrypted video lectures, PDF files, presentations, eBooks, or any other e-learning resource. We’ve been the most indigenous EdTech platform in the tier-2 HEI market for learning continuity & conduction of proctored end term examination ever since the Covid-19 pandemic hit our country. Our LMS platform has also seen a surge of almost 200% in existing active user base with an increase in average session duration from 3 to 15 mins.”
Prominent UGC and AICTE-accredited institutions and colleges, such as Lingayas Vidyapeeth, Shri Venkateshwara University, ITM Dehradun, JIMS School of Distance Learning, and Jaipur National University, among others, currently rely on the LMS platform for its diverse modules and offers. These functionalities can also be tailored to larger organisations.
Speaking on the future of eCampus, Mr Mayank Gupta, Investor & Advisor, expressed his thoughts. He said, “Education is the biggest catalyst for development & e-learning is the future of education.”
The team behind eCampus is highly enthusiastic & dedicated with an aim to build a world-class product that will be loved by its customers. Their product aligns with our aim to digitise the entire unorganised higher education ecosystem across tier 2 and 3 cities in India.
