Antyodaya cardholder families will be covered under CM Jan Arogya Yojana: Yogi Adityanath

NEW DELHI — Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said that over 40 lakh Antyodaya cardholder families will be covered under the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana.
“A special campaign to make golden cards for the families deprived of Ayushman scheme has started,” the chief minister said, adding that on the first day (Monday), 26 thousand new families were linked to this scheme.
He added that his government was committed to this important program.
According to the Uttar Pradesh chief minister, “In addition, it has been decided to include such Antyodaya cardholder families, which are not covered by any of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana or Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana, in the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana.”
With this decision, Yogi Adityanath said, Antyodaya cardholder family standing at the last rung of the society will get protection from the expenses in case of illness.
“More than 40 lakh Antyodaya cardholder families will be directly benefited by this decision. The benefit of the scheme should be provided to all the eligible people,” he added.
Establishment of Village Secretariat/Gram Panchayat Bhawan in all Gram Panchayats is the priority of the Government, the UP CM said, adding that this will also provide great convenience to the rural people.
“In the next three months, the work of construction of village Secretariat/Panchayat building should be completed in all the Gram Panchayats of the state,” the chief minister further said.
