The Covid-19 era has thrown open new challenges for educational institutions in the form of online education. With universities closed, the challenge has been to make students shift from face-to-face interaction mode to 100% online learning. The University has 1200+ Sharda group faculty with global experience sourced from renowned universities of USA, UK, Canada, Greece, Singapore, Japan, Russian Federation, among others. The faculty has to its credit 1400+ Scopus Journals & Publications including a number of funded research projects and consultancy assignments. The faculty has also filled 41 patents out of which 33 have been already approved.

To support its research and innovation endeavour, Sharda University has tie-ups with leading government institutes & labs including DRDO, MSME, DST, DBT, INSA and USAID among others. 36 Major Funded Research Projects worth Rs.10 crores are running in the University in areas of engineering, science and technology, business, humanity, medical and allied health science. In addition, there are seven centres for Materials Research, Environmental Research, Protein Research, Plant Virology Research, Agricultural Research and Polymer Research.
Sharda University’s Design and Innovation in Emerging Technology (DIET) Centre is a partner of the National Productivity Council (NPC) to establish a centre of excellence on Industry 4.0 and Finance 4.0. It is giving support for curriculum 4.0 by connecting with more than 100 industries in NCR to facilitate students for industry visit, industry projects, design and 4Ms (Man, Machine, Money and Manufacture) for the smart industry towards 4.0. and smart finance 4.0 for students of the University. To give students a global exposure, Sharda has tie-ups with 250+ universities and institutions across the globe. This gives students a chance to go on student exchange, pursue a semester abroad or get credit transfer. Sharda also offers students a unique opportunity to pursue a semester abroad at zero tuition fees at top ranked foreign universities. Students are charged absolutely nothing and gain a lot by way of global exposure to educational practice.
