25th Round of Quarterly Services and Infrastructure Outlook Survey (SIOS)–Q1:2020-21
| The Reserve Bank has been conducting the Services and Infrastructure Outlook Survey (SIOS) since 2014-15. The survey is conducted on a quarterly basis. The 25th round of the SIOS seeks an assessment of the business situation for the current quarter (Q1:2020-21, i.e., April-June 2020) from selected companies in the services and infrastructure sectors in India, and their outlook for the ensuing quarter (Q1:2020-21, i.e., April-June 2020). Owing to uncertainty because of the Covid-19 pandemic, an additional block has been included in this round for assessing the outlook on key parameters for two quarters ahead as well as one year ahead.
2. M/s Hansa Research Group Pvt. Ltd. has been authorised to conduct the survey for April-June 2020 quarter on behalf of the Reserve Bank. While selected services and infrastructure sectors companies will be approached by this agency, other companies in the services and infrastructure sectors are encouraged to participate in this survey by downloading the survey questionnaire from the Bank’s website www.rbi.org.in. The survey questionnaire is placed under the head ‘Forms’ (available in the ‘More Links’ at the bottom of the home page) and sub-head ‘Survey’.
